To succeed in our mission to create a united World Esport we need really big support and the biggest support we get is from our 123 Member nations, national federations from all around the world!

It’s really important to show you who are our Member Nations!

Today we are presenting the Lebanese Esports and Robotics Federation!

When did you founded the federation?

Our new federation was founded in March 2021 licenced by the Ministry of Sports and in 2022 we applied for the LOC and will get the approval next month.

Which games are most played in your country?

Most of the games are well played but the most popular are FIFA, Pubg, and DOTA2.

In which games/Esports do you have a representation?

Since we are still trying to gather all communities of different esports games we cannot tell.

What is the average age of the players in the national team?

22.

How would you describe in one word the state of Esports in your country?

Under construction.

How has the establishment of the federation helped Esports in your country?

Uniting and representing.

Uniting the communities can be more productive for the esports in Lebanon. For example, in FIFA we had more than 10 people organizing their own tournaments. Now we are trying to bring them all together in one great championship to elect the best of the best. Also, gamers are represented now on both national level and international level.

In what ways does the federation help Esports in your country?

To be honest, during these situations we are not helping a lot because of our resources. We are trying to create chances, organize, and unite the gamers. But at least we are trying to find places, logistics, organize tournaments, and find sponsors. Although we did not succeed with all, we will continue to do our best until the circumstances are better in Lebanon.

What are your future plans for the federation?

Education, development, and unity.

  • We must educate everyone about esports, the good side and the bad side, how to benefit the best, and how to keep balance.
  • Developing our staff, gamers, and officials is a priority. We need to have coaches, and referees. We need to have a platform and digital system.
  • United we are stronger. This is what we need to do on our national level, as on the international level. We need to unite because this will give the chance for all athletes to be in the national team and we will have the best representing Lebanon.

This is a long-term process that needs dedication and cooperation from everyone. We will keep moving forward to reach our goals.

What is your federation’s biggest achievement?

We still did not have the time to achieve much but I guess focusing on education will be what makes our federation special. And I am sure we can be a great example about how to invest in esports for the best of our athletes.

To succeed in our mission to create a united World Esport we need really big support and the biggest support we get is from our 111 Member nations, national federations from all around the world!

It’s really important to show you who are our Member Nations!

Today we are presenting the Esports Federation Cambodia!

When did you founded the federation?

E-Sport federation Cambodia (EFC) was founded in late 2014 in which it was officially recognized by sport authorities, National Olympic Committee of Cambodia (NOCC) and Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport.

Which games are most played in your country?

Mobile legend, and PUBG mobile as well as local game AK2 are the most played in Cambodia.

In which games/Esports do you have a representation?

For the last 10 years, local game AK2 has had a presentation in regional tournaments and in recent years, Mobile Legend, League of legends PubG and Dota 2 have a representation.

What is the average age of the players in the national team?

The average age of the players in the national team is 20 years old.

How would you describe in one word the state of Esports in your country?

Esports are the real sport.

How has the establishment of the federation helped Esports in your country?

It is very important to develop and promote Esports to the next generation through wisdom, value of humanity, education, culture, unity, and peace and intellectuality of youth and athletes. Only EFC is representative of Cambodian locally and internationally in tournaments and all images.

In what ways does the federation help Esports in your country?

Federation helps all images of Esports under Cambodia through promotion, education, training and tournament. All activities of Esports are only managed by EFC across the Kingdom of Cambodia as recognized by national sport authorities.

What are your future plans for the federation?

The future plan is to include Esports into Southeast Asian Games (SEA GAMES)  2023 when Cambodian hosts the first event in its history and wants to host the international Esports championship in Cambodia as well as send the national Esports team to international Esports events such Asian Games and Olympic Games.

What is your federation’s biggest achievement?

The promotion and education of the public to understand what is Esports is the first biggest achievement. Public considers games or Esports to be gambling and a negative view. Game players become real athletes. After we established EFC in 2014, we tried hard to educate and explain it to the public through workshops, conferences, tournaments, exhibitions, etc. The most important thing is that we sent the national team to participate abroad and we got the champion. AK2 Cambodian national team, Secret won the championship of 2015 MATIC (Mission Against Terror International Championship) in China, Never Care won MATIC in 2017 in Malaysia and Clach Ey won MACTIC in 2019 when Cambodia hosted the event. So far much of the public consider and recognize Esports as real sports like others.

To succeed in our mission to create a united World Esport we need really big support and the biggest support we get is from our 111 Member nations, national federations from all around the world!

It’s really important to show you who are our Member Nations!

Today we are presenting the Qazaq Cybersport Federation!

When did you founded the federation?

Our federation was founded in December 2017. We are an Esports organization, a republican public association, a non-profit organization, the main goals of which are the development and popularization of mass computer sports (Esports) in the Republic of Kazakhstan and the promotion of Kazakh Esports to the world community. In 2020, the Federation received recognition from the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan

Which games are most played in your country?

Most likely, Kazakhstan has not gone far from global trends in terms of game disciplines. Such games as CS:GO, Dota 2, FIFA 22 as well as mobile games (PUBG mobile & FreeFire) are more popular in Kazakhstan. In addition, such games as Fortnite, Apex, and of course Warzone are popular in the youth segment.

In which games/Esports do you have a representation?

We organize state and regional tournaments in completely different disciplines (more than 15). Disciplines: FIFA 22, Dota 2, StarCraft II, PUBG Mobile, CS: GO, eFootball PES 2021. In addition, we support the development of those disciplines that are provided for in international tournaments.

What is the average age of the players in the national team?

16-25 y.o.

How would you describe in one word the state of Esports in your country?

Takeoff.

How has the establishment of the federation helped Esports in your country?

Thanks to the creation of the Cybersport Federation, in 2018, in June, by an official order of the Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan, cybersport was recognized as an official sport. Along with classic sports. In addition, we have received recognition from the National Olympic Committee of Kazakhstan. Also, in just three years of work, we were able to give esports republican status, and the winners of our tournaments have every right to receive social benefits and official sports categories.

In what ways does the federation help Esports in your country?

We create infrastructure for the development of esports. We form tournaments lines, provide platforms for beginners and professional cybersportsmen. In addition, we lobby for the interests of esportsmen at the highest level, we do not let them remain in the shadows. But most importantly, we were able to make esports become another lever of the social lift for the youth of Kazakhstan. This is invaluable.

What are your future plans for the federation?

Our main task is to educate world champions, give them a foothold for growth, and replenish the piggy bank of international medals as in all possible tournaments. Therefore, as part of the strategy for the development of the e-sports federation until 2025, we plan to build e-sports arenas, academies, as well as to increase the growth rate of the number of new tournaments.

What is your federation’s biggest achievement?

Holding this year the Republican Cup of Kazakhstan in e-sports. This tournament became national, and the winners guarantee themselves to receive official sports titles (master of sports), as well as to be included in the national team.

To succeed in our mission to create a united World Esport we need really big support and the biggest support we get is from our 109 Member nations, national federations from all around the world!

It’s really important to show you who are our Member Nations!

Today we are presenting the Esports Association Poland!

When did you founded the federation?

Esports Association is a non-profit organization founded on August 18, 2016 in Katowice.

Which games are most played in your country?

The most played games in Poland are CS:GO and League of Legends obviously but we have one of the best players in Europe in titles such as Tekken 7, eFootball PES or PUBG: Battlegrounds.

In which games/Esports do you have a representation?

We have our representation in several esport titles, but mostly it depends on championships that are taking place. This year we selected teams not only in games like Tekken 7 or PES which are played every year in IESF but also in CS:GO, FIFA and PUBG: Battlegrounds.

What is the average age of the players in the national team?

We have noticed that the Tekken 7 and PES community are a little older than in games like FIFA or PUBG, for example two of our representatives that will come to Eilat are 28-29 years old but generally players are around 20 years old.

How has the establishment of the federation helped Esports in your country?

We are organizing a nationwide electronic sports congress where we give the opportunity to discuss the state and direction of the Esports industry. We raise awareness of the interdisciplinary nature of Esports by implementing a proprietary curriculum for secondary schools. Above that we cooperate with central and local government administration, the private sector and represent the country in international structures.

In what ways does the federation help Esports in your country?

Besides educating about Esports, we are also giving it a place to happen. For example as an Association we organise Edu Esports League – nationwide Esports championship of universities, in which competing teams officially represent top universities from all over the country. Same goes for secondary schools where we are organizing Esports events and practice groups where students can learn playing games from properly prepared coaches.

What are your future plans for the federation?

I believe that we are going in the right direction, so strengthening the activities and foundations on which we rely will be good not only for us, but also for the entire Esports industry in Poland.

To succeed in our mission to create a united World Esport we need really big support and the biggest support we get is from our 111 Member nations, national federations from all around the world!

It’s really important to show you who are our Member Nations!

Today we are presenting the French Federation of Video Games!

When did you founded the federation?

The French Federation of Video Games (in French FFJV) was founded by my predecessor, Franck Fontaine and a few other people in March 2013, the 1st. At beginning, the FFJV was found to make some leagues in virtual soccer, Moba and simRacing and help the french teams to contact collectivities and work together about the Esport Democracy.

Which games are most played in your country?

In 2020, the most played game in France is FIFA21. Animal Crossing: the new horizon is a much played game too. But if we talk about Esport, some games are really T1 like Fortnite, Leagues of Legend or Rocket League. French players are really attached to virtual soccer games. Few years ago, Pro Evolution Soccer was the most played Game but I think that Konami didn’t manage their game enough to keep the first place.

In which games/Esports do you have a representation?

The FFJV is a group of more than 25 teams. But in France you can find more than a thousand teams. Lot of them played only one game and others played more.
We can’t exactly answer this question because France is represented in each Esport game that we can find. We’ve got serious players in StarCraft 2, FIFA, PES, Counter Strike, Dota 2, Hearthstone and Magic Arena… But you can find very good teams in Rocket League, R6 and Call of Duty.

Lot of French teams played in the most important competition around the world but you’ve got a very high difference between professional teams like Vitality, PSG… and the amateur teams.

What is the average age of the players in the national team?

Our national team is composed only for the IESF Masters. Ages are very different because of our youngest CSGO player who is 18 years old and the oldest player is our PES player Ira who is 36.

How would you describe in one word the state of Esports in your country?

In France Esport is very difficult. We have a lot of teams, lot of players but we don’t have enough rules to manage them. We’re waiting for some rules and laws that will be available in 2022.

How has the establishment of the federation helped Esports in your country?

The Federation is helping teams to have good management. We’re giving some training to the team’s directors and we are teaching the good use of video games to children while preventing the addiction from video games. Each thing is necessary to have a good Esport and our job is helping France to have a healthy Esport.

What are your future plans for the federation?

You know, in 2024 we’ll have the Olympics in Paris. We would like to make an Esport achievement like the WC of IESF. We think that we need Esport during or just after the Olympics games. Some people say Esport is not a Sport but in Esport, players have the same training : Coaches, time of game, analytics, doctors, ambition etc.

Competition is very important and for us, sport = competition.

What is your federation’s biggest achievement?

This year, our national Finals cup on Magic Arena and Teamfight Tactics took place in a small arena in Paris. More than a thousand people saw that on Stream. The two games are not T1. Next Year we’ll be present more often in festivals and meetings and we’ll have more discussion with the government. We think that our Federation can help IESF to be the strongest and the only real Esport federation around the world.
